Dedicated to the Box Family of Sweden and the United States

This web site is being developed as a point-of-contact for persons interested in the genealogy and family history of the Box family of Sweden, some of whom immigrated to the United States in the 19th Century. This site contains information collected from several researchers. I would like to especially thank Eugene Box for all of the information that he has contributed to this site. Other contributors include Marge Williams nee Box, Ken Box, and Lars Carlberg. I would also like to see if there is sufficient interest in the using the site for connecting relatives far and wide with news of events in the lives of Box family relatives, by posting of family events and pictures, or perhaps through an occasional newsletter.

The research on this site concerns the decedents and ancestors of Maria Charlotta Gadde and Niklas Box.

This web site is under HEAVY construction at this time. After putting off creating this site for a couple of years, because of missing or incorrect information (not to mention my still mediocre web development skills), I have decided to put the site up and correct and add as we go along.

If you are a relative of the Box family and would like to have your information up on this site please let me know. Although I may have some additional information, I am not putting up any information on living individuals unless I get their consent. If you find incorrect information or have more information on anyone listed on this site, again, please let me know.
